CRPF Recruitment 2020 | 789 Posts

CRPF Recruitment: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a recruitment notification for Group “B” and “C” non-ministerial, non-gazetted, combat paramedical staff. CRPF will fill vacancies for the post of Head Constable, Inspector, Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector. There are total 789 vacancies which have been notified by CRPF in the notification PDF.  

CRPF will recruit more than 700 candidates for the post of Head Constable, Constable, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI).

The notification has been issued on 10 July 2020 on the official website of CRPF www.crpf.gov.in. Candidates will be able to apply offline from 20 July 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • Inspector (Dietitian):
    • With B.Sc (Home Science / Home Economics) as Nutrition subject or equivalent from recognized University of Central / State Government
    • Diploma in Dietetics from an institution recognized by the State Government or a Master’s degree in Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from any recognized Central / State Government University.

  • Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse):
    • 12th class pass from a recognized board

    • Passed a three and a half year course in General Nursing and Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized Board and University.
    • Registered as a nurse or nurse and midwife with the Central Nurses Council or State Nursing Council.

  • Sub Inspector (Radiographer):
    • Intermediate or 12 with Science as a Subject or equivalent
    • Diploma or Certificate (2 years course) in Radio Diagnostics from an institute of Central or State Government or recognized by Central or State Government.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) :
    • 12th class pass from a recognized board
    • Two years Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute

    • Must be registered as a pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948)

  • Assistant Sub Inspector (Physiotherapist):
    • Intermediate or 12 with Science as a Subject or equivalent
    • 3 years Diploma in Physiotherapy or Diploma in Physiotherapy from All India Council Technical or any institute recognized by Central or State Government.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector (Dental Technician):
    • Matriculation with Science as a subject from a recognized Board or University.
    • Two year Dental Hygienist course recognized by Dental Council of India.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector (Laboratory Technician):
    • Matriculation with Science as a subject from a recognized Board or University.
    • Diploma or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology granted by an institute of Central Government. Or Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government or State Government.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector/ Electro Cardiography Technician:
    • Matriculation with Science as a subject from a recognized Board or University.
    • Certificate in Electro Cardio Graphy Technology from an institute recognized by All India Council.

  • Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant/ Nursing Assistant/ Medic/ANM/Midwife/Dialysis Technician) :
    • 12th class pass
    • Two year Diploma or certificate course
  • Head Constable (Junior X -ray Assistant/Laboratory Assistant):
    • 10th pass and certificate
  • Head Constable (Electrician and Steward):
    • Matriculation with Science as a subject from a recognized Board or University.
  • Constable:
    • Matriculation pass and relevant experience
  • Head Constable (Veterinary):
    • 12 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent from a recognized board.

    • Certificate of minimum one year duration related to veterinary therapeutic or live stock management or Degree or Diploma 

  •  Head Constable (Lab Technician):
    • 12 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Two years Diploma or Certificate Course in Veterinary Lab Technician with one year experience as a Veterinary Laboratory Technician from a Government Hospital or Government recognized Hospital or Government Institutions.

  • Head Constable (Radiographer):
    • 12 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Degree or Diploma Certificate Program in Veterinary Radiography from a recognized institute.

Age Limit:

  • Sub-Inspector – 30 Years
  • Assistant Sub – Inspector – 20 to 25 Years
  • Head Constable – 18 to 25 Years
  • Head Constable (Junior X -ray Assistant/Laboratory Assistant/Electrician)- 20 to 25 Years
  • Head Constable (Steward)and Constable-18 to 23 Years

Application Fee:

The application fee for CRPF recruitment is to be paid only for Indian Postal Order and Bank Draft. Candidates who have to pay the application fee can pay through Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft DIGP, Group Center, CRPF, Bhopal payable at SBI-Bangrasia

  • Unreserved/EWS/OBC category Rs.200/-
  • Group B Posts and Rs.100/
  • Group C posts as examination fee.
  • Candidates belonging to SC / ST and women candidates are not required to pay any fee.

How To Apply?

  • Duly filled application form with photocopy of all related documents, 02 latest passport size
  • The photograph and envelope mentioning the correspondence address of the applicant with the required stamp should be mailed / submitted.
  • The application will be rejected in case the photographs are not found.
  • The name of the examination ie “Central Reserve Police Force Paramedical Staff Examination, 2020” should be written above the envelope before sending it to the address given below:
